Hello my lovely readers, today I am excited to share my third annual "Outfits of the Week" for the first week of college. This year, I went out of my comfort zone a little bit by filming and shooting pictures every day this week on my own. I went out on campus with my camera, set up my tripod, and used self-timer to put together this video and blog for you all!
I really hope you enjoy it and that it gives you some outfit inspiration!

MONDAY- MY FIRST DAY OF JUNIOR YEAR
Day 1. Every year I dig through my closet to find that perfect outfit for the first day of school. This year I decided on this look. I love this high-low top from T's Closet, I thought it looked so sophisticated and stylish. To create a "cute-casual" look as I like to call it, I paired with my ripped jeans. I left the top two buttons undone and added a gold necklace.

TUESDAY - summer daze
How cute is this top?! On Tuesday I wore this stylish blouse from T's Closet, I love its halter neckline and how it ties at the front and I especially love the sexy open back. I paired this top with some white pants which made the look fresh and youthful. My new shades from Francesca's really completed the look. I think this look was so playful and is a great summer outfit.

WEDNESDAY - Blazer Love
My outfit for Wednesday included my favorite item: a blazer! I love blazers, they can dress up an outfit, add pops of colors to your outfits, or help bring the whole look together. My favorite way to wear a blazer is with jeans because it looks stylish while still looking casual so it is perfect for a college student like me! This blazer has beautiful pastel colors and paired well with my shorts and white top. I added my pink lipstick and felt super cute and confident all day.
Â
THURSDAY - Pretty in Pink
Pink is my favorite color so I had to put together a pink outfit for the first week. I love these high-waisted beige shorts, they are really versatile and could pair with honestly any color. I decided to pair it with my pink blouse. My necklace with its pink and gold features really tied the look together.
Â
FRIDAY - showstopper
They say you leave the best for last....well here it is. I decided to end the week with a head turner- this light olive green body con dress from Zara. Green isn't usually a color I wear, but oh how amazing this shade of the color looked! This dress shows off your beautiful curves and it can really be styled in various ways. I went for a minimal styling look and let the dress do most of the standing out. I added a gold choker necklace and small dangling gold earrings. This color paired so well with brown, I wore some brown sandals and my MK purse.
Finally once my classes were done, I took my favorite set of pictures from the week. I lowered the exposure and experimented with angling...practice does make perfect. I'm looking forward to keep taking more pictures this semester.
